Welcome to Eat Bake Sing!
Hi there, my name is Julie and I am a mother of four who has a love for baking real bread and sharing that knowledge with others. My other passion is singing, specifically traditional folk songs that tell stories of times gone by. Being outdoors is where I feel most alive, so it’s no surprise that I’d rather be outside baking and singing than anywhere else!
Although I enjoy baking bread, my greatest joy (after my children, of course) is singing. Baking bread is simply an excuse to get people together to chat and enjoy a shared activity. But there’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of having fresh bread to eat at the end of it all.
Many of the songs I sing are seasonal and feature the traditional crafts of baking and milling. I wanted to find a way to incorporate these two passions of mine, and that’s how Eat, Bake, Sing was born! I’m excited to share my love for bread, singing, and the outdoors with others and bring people together through these shared experiences. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
